Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a fully remote ERP Data Migration Specialist to join our dynamic Corporate Applications IT Team. This position reports to the IT ERP Program Manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate transfer of data from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE). The role operates during working hours of 14:00 to 23:00 SAST, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a global ERP transformation from anywhere.

Responsibilities

As an ERP Data Migration Specialist at Woolpert, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and migrating master data from acquisition legacy ERP systems to Woolpert's ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/CE).
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Identify and remove duplicates, correct errors, and standardise formats to meet required data standards.
  • Create documentation that defines how data elements in legacy systems correspond to fields in the new ERP.
  • Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to move data from source systems into the ERP platform.
  • Develop and execute tests to validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated data, and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the entire migration process, including mapping, transformation rules, and test results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with 3 years of experience in data migration projects and ERP data migration knowledge OR 5 years of experience in data migration projects with proven ERP data migration expertise.
