Woolpert is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic teamAs a Solutions Engineer, you will support the sales process by combining strong technical expertise with outstanding communication skills. You'll work directly with clients to understand their needs, demonstrate Esri-based solutions, and architect integrated workflows using LiDAR, imagery, and other geospatial tools. Your role is essential in bridging the gap between client challenges and the innovative solutions Woolpert provides.

 

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to collaborate with clients and team members from anywhere, ensuring that geographic location does not limit your impact or contributions.

 

Essential Functions

As a Solutions Engineer at Woolpert, you will:

  • Lead technical pre-sales efforts by designing and presenting tailored solutions built on Esri ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Hub, etc.) for Woolpert LiDAR & Imagery products.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to address client requirements using a variety of tools including LiDAR processing, imagery analysis, and cloud-based geospatial solutions.
  • Participate in RFP/RFI responses by crafting technical content and solution descriptions that highlight Woolpert’s geospatial capabilities.
  • Conduct live and virtual product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts for potential and existing clients
  • Stay informed on the latest Esri product updates, as well as emerging technologies across the geospatial ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.

 

Minimum Requirements 

Education/Experience:

  • Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Minimum of 2 years in technical sales engineering or consulting role focused on Geospatial solutions.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and geoprocessing tools.
  • Experience working with LiDAR and imagery data, including classification, feature extraction, and analysis.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to design end-to-end geospatial solutions that solve real-world problems

 

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in key markets served by Woolpert: Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Renewables and infrastructure.

Posted Salary Range

USD $106,400.00 - USD $177,400.00 /Yr.
