Marketing Coordinator I 

Dayton, OH 

 

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for data entry, management, support, and analysis for the Marketing and Creative teams, with a focus on conferences, client events, and premiums. 

Essential Functions  

Works closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to manage and support trade shows and conferences, client events, and premiums. This includes tracking tradeshow ROIs, developing best practices, and creating innovative tactics to support our growing tradeshow presence across markets. 

Responsibilities

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or communications. 

  • Work on-site in Dayton, Ohio to organize, pack, and ship marketing material and collateral.  

  • Experience with a CRM (preferably ExhibitDay), Adobe InDesign, or Canva, various presentation methods, and multimedia formats is strongly desired. 

  • Potential travel to tradeshows or conferences (10% Travel). 

  • Willingness to undergo a preemployment verification background and drug screen.  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Support coordination of tradeshows and events: 

  • Manage attendee registrations, booth coordination, and sponsorships, providing support to the marketing team at industry events. 

  • Work closely with the creative team, marketing managers, sales team, business partners, conference planners, etc., to ensure needs are addressed. 

  • Support printing needs. 

  • Help coordinate corporate and client events from initial planning to full execution and follow-up.  

  • Run reports to support business planning and tracking needs.  

  • Outline and track tradeshow KPIs specific to budget, expenses, client engagement, etc. 

  • Manage inventory of firmwide premiums, supporting needs of marketing managers and corporate. 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  

  • Excellent self-starter and independently motivated, with a strong passion for results and action. 

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. 

  • Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes, as well as internal initiatives
