Minimum Requirements
- An associate’s degree or apprenticeship in a related field, or must have High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- 3-5 years of electrical, optical, thermal, general systems experience Preferred.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools for electronic, optical, and thermal systems.
- Strong understanding of procedures and protocols for system assembly and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in electronics, optics, or thermal systems is preferred.
Other Considerations:
- Experience with aircraft positioning and handling.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a technical environment.
- You thrive working in a fast-paced, highly driven environment and can adapt quickly to changing conditions and priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- A team player who is confident, respectful, curious, flexible, and able to work with other professionals in a growing, successful, and respected business.
- Must read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Must be able to write clear and concise reports and correspondence.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require working in various environments, including laboratories, field sites, and aircraft hangars.
- Some travel may be required for field testing and operational support.
Resulting Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate and manipulate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, climb and/or balance.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 to 50 pounds.
- Must have visual abilities of close vision, distance and color vision, peripheral vision, depth (stereo) vision and the ability to quickly adjust focus.
