Overview

The Artificial Intelligence Intern will work alongside the Director of Corporate Analytics to support the progress of Woolpert’s analytics roadmap. This role is an individual contributor in the Analytics Center of Excellence, helping the firm achieve its vision of cultivating an industrial strength AI ecosystem across Woolpert by enabling advanced machine learning capability and enriched digital solutions to better serve clients. This role will also support senior Corporate Analytics staff with end-to-end DataOps and MLOps lifecycle activities including, but not limited to data pipeline development, data/feature engineering, model development and experimentation, model deployment and monitoring, and user experience design.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Corporate Analytics team and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field.
  • Research and experiment with new AI techniques and tools to improve the performance of AI models
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on strategy and project planning
  • Continuously learn and develop skills in analytics and AI technologies, programming languages, and tools
  • Conduct data preprocessing and cleaning to ensure the accuracy and quality of data sets
  • Create dashboards and reports for internal use at Woolpert.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, with at least sophomore status
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
  • Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, R, Java, or C++
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
