Overview

In this role, you will drive growth in the Transportation and/or Water Market sectors by offering customized solutions to clients, collaborating with the infrastructure industry, and addressing major challenges. You will leverage Woolpert’s global capabilities, stay updated on industry trends, and develop strategies to position Woolpert in the market while maintaining affordability and improving community livability.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in the Transportation and/or Water Market sectors with tailored solutions for clients. 
  • Focus on offering customized solutions to both existing and future clients. 
  • Partner and collaborate with clients and the broader infrastructure industry. 
  • Develop and deliver solutions addressing major challenges while maintaining customer affordability and improving community livability. 
  • Understand client strategies, challenges, and opportunities. 
  • Systematically explore and innovate to deliver pragmatic solutions. 
  • Leverage Woolpert’s global capabilities and identify market trends. 
  • Pre-empt and lead client needs by staying abreast of current and emerging trends in the transportation and/or water resources industries. 
  • Formulate and implement short- and long-term strategies to position Woolpert in the market. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with 12+ years of industry experience 
  • Relevant industry experience, including Consultancy, Sales, Business Development, Client Account Management and/or Operations.  
  • Experience in Business Development with strong client relationships within the Transportation and/or Water Resources industry at the City/County and TxDOT/Federal level. 
  • Ideally well networked, connected and trusted in the infrastructure sector. 
  • Ability to manage and maintain a solid pipeline of opportunities. 
  • Up to 50% travel
