Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager to support our Industrial, Multi-Family, and Education markets.  This position would support full-time in-person, hybrid working arrangements, but will need to be located in one of the following Woolpert locations; Indianapolis, IN, Dayton, OH, Cincinnati, OH, or Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for specific projects. This position is key in establishing and improving client relationships and growth within a client base as well as securing repeat opportunity within a client base.

 

Project Management: Responsible for managing a multidiscipline team of architects and engineers while working as well as the project profit/loss. Identify, address, and resolve project issues. Analyze project resource needs and work with internal teams and consultants to determine budget and resource allocation. Develop, negotiate, and manage project scope, schedules, and budget. Communicate client needs and expectations. Conduct project kick-off meetings and set up project data within internals systems. Conduct project status update meetings to communicate, address, resolve, and anticipate project issues. Ensure client collections are performed in a timely manner. Manage project documentation and filing system. Ensure project QA/QC is performed.

Business Development: Work with Market and Program Directors to secure new business opportunities in generating new leads. Develop written proposals and lead efforts related to project proposals. Maintain professional client relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years of related Project Management experience.
  • Typically manage a Net Revenue of $4m+. Net Revenue goals vary based on project timelines, services, and deliverables.
  • Must have current Professional Registration.
  • Must have expert industry and solution knowledge.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be able to travel to meet the needs and demands of the project.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Assist in marketing in accordance with the Firms’ marketing plan and policies.
  • Assure project quality and attend Quality Control Review sessions.
  • Prepare scope of work, obtain proposals, and prepare Agreements and Purchase Orders for required outside services.
  • Minimum travel expectation of 10%. Amount of travel will vary depending on market.

 

Resulting Physical Qualifications:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate and manipulate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, climb and/or balance.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
