Architects & Project Managers Needed!
Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is currently looking to hire talented and experienced Architects & Project Managers for several of its offices including Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando, Florida. These are full-time positions and we’re looking for professionals with 10 or more years of experience that are looking to join a diverse, creative, and collaborative team of Architects, Engineers, Planners, Interior Designers, and Landscape Architects. It should be noted that this position is not appropriate for project managers within the technology or IT sectors.
The job includes providing overall management direction for existing or new projects and supervise team members. Establish project budgets, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and A/E contracts to facilitate construction activities. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Construction Manager to ensure projects are built on time and within budgets; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent BA in project meetings and assist in strategy meetings, etc. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect BA’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with clients. Project types range from commercial, municipal, hospitality, and healthcare to high-rise residential, maritime, and mixed-use.
