Overview

Bermello Ajamil & Partners, a Woolpert Company, has a full-time on-site representative position available to serve as the Owner’s Rep during construction administration on a Design-Build project. Location for this position is on-site in construction trailer stationed at Miami International Airport.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and becoming familiar with all contract documents
  • Knowledge of (and experience) with Procore, Revit and Navisworks
  • Change order processing
  • Submittal review and processing
  • RFI review and processing
  • Change Notice Request Review and processing.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings.
  • Attend weekly Owner-Contractor meetings
  • Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities (QA/QC)
  • Prepare daily and weekly field reports
  • Compile monthly progress reports
  • Participate in weekly construction progress meetings
  • Coordinate with engineering sub-consultants
  • Maintain on-going contract with architecture project manager and office staff
  • Manage Clerical/Admin support staff
  • Observe and help troubleshoot field issues
  • Review and help certify monthly payment applications
  • Prepare and Coordinate subconsultant’s punch lists
  • Conduct final review
  • Review As-Built documentation.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Controls
  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture related field required.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills. Including verbal communication and report writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an organized project documentation filing system on the jobsite.
  • Ability to handle numerous tasks at once.
  • Experienced in all aspects of Construction Administration as an Architect’s and / or Owner’s job-site representative.
  • Excellent knowledge of current Building Code.
